IHI Launch New Age-Friendly Health Systems Initiative Website

IHIwebsite

The new site is Creating Age-Friendly Health Systems, which houses the initiative being led by The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) - in partnership with the American Hospital Association and supported by The John A. Hartford Foundation.

IHI is developing an age-friendly health system model and working with five U.S. health systems to test, refine, and scale the prototype, with the aim of spreading the model to 20 percent of U.S. hospitals and health systems by 2020. An age-friendly approach will measurably improve the quality of care for older adults and optimize value for health systems.
