Los Angeles Daily News Article on Four ways to Change Attitudes Toward Aging

The Los Angeles Daily News article discusses changing mindsets and notions around aging based on Reframing Aging ideas led by a collaboration of eight national aging organizations in partnership with the FrameWorks Institute.

"Shouldn’t we have a campaign about “old is good” and not refer to wine or cheese in the same breath? Is this a wild thought?" The piece talks about the timeliness of this "not wild" thought. It goes into detail about misperceptions that are obstacles to creating productive policies and practices and which in turn limit the potential of older people and limit others from meeting their needs. Four communication priorities to change the conversation are identified.
