The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) proposes to fund RSVP grants that support volunteers age 55 years and older.

RSVP is now one of the largest senior volunteer programs in the nation. It offers a diverse range of volunteer activities that serve communities to create measurable impact, benefit volunteers through the service experience, and create community capacity.

CNCS seeks to fund RSVP grants that support volunteers in activities that serve community needs and respond to the National Performance Measures in the following focus areas: disaster; education; economic opportunity; environment; healthy futures; and veterans and military families. In addition to addressing one or more of the Focus Areas, CNCS is particularly interested in supporting applications that propose to include one or more of the Priority Areas, which include Elder Justice and Aging in Place—Transportation.
