Next Avenue has released a new special report presented by The John A. Hartford Foundation, "Taking Care," about family caregivers of older adults.
No two families look and function quite the same, including their approach to elder care. By choice or circumstance, Americans find themselves in crucial support roles for parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents or friends — weathering grief, stress, physical and financial strain. And there's no how-to guide. This five-month series is illuminating the lives of family caregivers across America.
