The CDC, in collaboration with health departments, the JAHF and other stakeholder organizations, held a webinar November 30 that highlighted three health department programs to provide examples of innovative strategies that could be implemented to address infection prevention and staffing needs in long-term care facilities.

This was the second webinar in a series intended to connect public health and long-term care organizations during their planning and implementation of activities funded by the Nursing Home and Long-term Care Facilities Strike Teams and Infrastructure Project.

Strike Team funding of $500 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 has been awarded through the CDC's Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Cooperative Agreement to support nursing homes and long-term care communities.

Webinar recordings and other helpful information can be found on this resource page.
