The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) has published a blog and a video by Mary Tinetti, "How Focusing on What Matters Simplifies Complex Care for Older Adults."

Mary Tinetti, MD, Chief of Geriatrics at Yale School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital, and co-chair of the advisory group for IHI’s Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative, explains the keys to providing the best care possible for older adults. She talks about Age-Friendly Health Systems from the point of view of her work as a clinician and also from the experience of her parents' health needs and preferences.

Dr. Tinetti also shares the story of what it means to be an age-friendly health system in a video, "What is an Age-Friendly Health System?"
