Caregiving Thought Leaders Roundtable Report from The National Hispanic Council on Aging

NHCOA

The National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA) has released a new report on Proceedings from a Thought Leaders Roundtable which focuses on identifying the education and training needed to support Hispanic caregivers.

The NHCOA Roundtable discussion was based on the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) Families Caring for an Older America study. The NHCOA's discussion findings and recommendations form the basis of the new Hispanic Family Caregiving: Proceedings from a Thought Leaders Roundtable report.

The information from the convening is also informing NHCOA’s national strategy on family caregiving and the Council's work on creating awareness about caregiving among Hispanics.
