Diverse Elders Coalition Family Caregiving Survey and Twitter Chat

DEC survey blog 600

The Diverse Elders Coalition is currently surveying family caregivers of older adults from diverse communities and needs your help in spreading the word. The anonymous survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and is open until May 10.

The survey is currently available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese and will soon be available in Chinese, Khmer, Korean, Hmong, and Lao. The findings will help the DEC develop tools, resources and programs that better meet the needs of caregivers in LGBT and racial/ethnic communities.

DEC is also hosting a family caregiving Twitter chat on Tuesday, April 9th at 3pm EST, using the hashtag #CaregivingIsDiverse, to hear about the diverse experiences of caregiving from family caregivers, healthcare providers, aging services providers, and advocates.
