The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's Forum on Aging, Disability, and Independence is hosting a workshop on October 24, "Artificial Intelligence for Older Adults and People with Disabilities: Balancing Safety and Autonomy."

The workshop will explore the potential of artificial intelligence to foster a balance of safety and autonomy for older adults and people with disabilities who strive to live as independently as possible. The agenda will feature invited presentations and discussions that will highlight key questions and policy issues related to the application of artificial intelligence.
