NASEM Workshop: Financing and Payment Strategies to Support High-Quality Care for People with Serious Illness
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) Roundtable on Quality Care for People with Serious Illness is holding a one-day workshop on November 29th on financing and payment strategies to support high-quality care for people with serious illness.
The workshop will feature invited presentations and panel discussions exploring the challenges and opportunities for innovation in fee-for-service, value-based payment, and global budgeting arrangements across a range of settings and patient populations. Speakers will also explore regulatory and policy changes to ensure high-quality care for people of all ages with serious illness. The workshop is being held at The Keck Center, Washington DC and it will also be live webcast.
