National Academy of Medicine Vital Directions Final Synthesis Paper
Entitled Vital Directions for Health and Health Care: Priorities from a National Academy of Medicine Initiative, the paper is the last in a National Academy of Medicine’s series of discussion papers by health care experts.
The initiative called on more than 150 leading researchers, scientists, and policy makers from across the United States to assess and provide expert guidance on 19 priority issues for U.S. health policy. The National Academy of Medicine has identified priorities central to helping the nation achieve better health at lower cost.
