The National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA) is holding the Hispanic Caregiving Thought Leaders Roundtable in Houston, TX on November 13.

The roundtable discussion will be centered around a study released by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine which focused on family caregiving for older adults.

The meeting will define the elements that NHCOA should consider in the development of a culturally and linguistically competent strategy to effectively support Hispanic caregivers and Hispanic older adults. The information gathered from this dialogue will be used to develop NHCOA’s strategy on family caregiving and will also be shared to create awareness on caregiving among Hispanics.
