AJN Book of the Year Awards 2018

The American Journal of Nursing (AJN) has published it's 2018 Book of the Year Awards. Gerontological Nursing second place was awarded to the Handbook of Geriatric Assessment, Fifth Edition.

The Handbook of Geriatric Assessment edited by Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, President, The John A. Hartford Foundation, and Bruce Chernof, MD, FACP, President & Chief Executive Officer, The SCAN Foundation. This Fifth Edition is a multidisciplinary text that takes a contemporary approach in line with patient and family centered care. With contributions from the foremost experts in the field, it contains the latest information on geriatric assessments for older adults.

Since 1969, AJN has published an annual Book of the Year list of the best in nursing publishing in the January issue of the journal.
