The Center for Consumer Engagement in Health Innovation (CCEHI) March 21 Health Innovation Highlights includes an article by Steven M. Stein, MD, MHS, "Moving Toward Age-Friendly Health Care."

Dr. Steven M. Stein is the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Trinity Health Continuing Care. "I would love to say that the care of older adults has advanced to a point where all older adults receive “age-friendly” care, but we are still far from such a point. That’s why The John A. Hartford Foundation has committed its expertise and resources to achieving the goal of having 20 percent of all health systems be reliably "age-friendly" by 2020."

He talks about the work being done by Trinity Health systems, one of the five systems prototyping the Age-Friendly Health Systems model of care.
