The Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA) has released an article, "Building An Age-Friendly World," in their series on Age-Friendly in CHA's journal, Health Progress.

The article talks about the global age-friendly movement, discussing the World Health Organization's Age-Friendly World, as well as more local initiatives such as AARP's U.S. network of age-friendly communities.

"One of the most recent additions to the age-friendly movement is a project to create an age-friendly public health system. Sponsored by The John A. Hartford Foundation and the Trust for America's Health, the project aims to promote health and prevent injury, optimize physical, cognitive and mental health and encourage social engagement."
