The Journal of the American Geriatrics Society (JAGS) has published a Letter to the Editor, "Reply to: Advance Care Planning Requires Training."

Authored by The John A. Hartford Foundation's President, Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, Senior Program Officer and Communications Director, Marcus Escobedo, MPA, and Senior Program Officer, Amy Berman, RN, LHD, FAAN, the Letter is in reply to Drs. Hammes and Meier's correspondence regarding Dr. Fulmer et al's report, "Physicians' Views on Advance Care Planning and End‐of‐Life Care Conversations."

"Reply to: Advance Care Planning Requires Training" agrees with the importance of tools and resources to address advance care planning for older adults, and details several resources that The John A. Hartford Foundation is supporting.
