The New York Academy of Medicine has extended the deadline for the Mary and David Hoar Fellowship in the Prevention and Treatment of Hip Fracture to April 27, 2012. The Hoar Fellowship offers a two-year, $100,000 grant in support of clinical, epidemiologic and health services research in the following areas related to hip fractures: clinical care and treatment, prevention, rehabilitation and model program development. Candidates must hold an MD, PhD, or equivalent degree and are expected to conduct research in a supervised program in the greater New York area.
