Next Avenue: Living to the End of Life Special Report
Next Avenue has released a new special report, "Living to the End of Life," which is presented by The John A. Hartford Foundation.
Over the next six months, the special report will feature stories on issues around the end of life, which are really issues about how we want to live. It will include storytelling, news and information about how to plan for the end of your life, explore the importance of care that preserves dignity, understand how the current health care system often fails to meet the goals and preferences of older adults and their families at this crucial point, and discuss the range of effective approaches to palliative and end-of-life care that result in less harm and burden.
