Dr. Terry Fulmer, President of The John A. Hartford Foundation, discussed the need for Age-Friendly Health Systems on the TV program, One-on-One with Steve Adubato, on August 14, 2017.
Dr. Fulmer talked about the importance of supporting family caregivers and the concerted effort the Foundation has been taking to improve the care of older adults, as today we are moving forward from the pursuit of life with longevity toward life with high quality and good care. Speaking of what an age-friendly health system would be like, "You get the right care at the right time at the right place," Dr. Fulmer answered.
