Scott Bane, JD, MPA, is a senior program officer at The John A. Hartford Foundation. Mr. Bane has over a decade of experience in philanthropy with a focus on providing greater access and quality of services to vulnerable populations. In addition to developing and managing palliative care, sustainable environment, and LGBT rights programs, Mr. Bane's legal training has informed his approach to older adult care. Throughout his experience in law school, Mr. Bane held internships at the New York State Court of Appeals, New York State Supreme Court, Medicare Rights Center, and the New York State Office of the Attorney General in the Health Care Bureau.
