Senior Communications Associate

Clare Churchouse is a senior communications associate at The John A. Hartford Foundation. In this role, she works with the communications team to provide overall support in the development, implementation and execution of the Foundation’s communication plans and strategies and to help promote and grow the Foundation’s initiatives.

Before joining the foundation, she served as a program associate at The Commonwealth Fund, a private foundation supporting independent research on health care issues and making grants to improve health care practice and policy. Ms. Churchouse moved to New York City from the United Kingdom in 2000 to participate in the International Studio & Curatorial Program. She received a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from Lancaster University, a master’s degree in art from Reading University, and a master of science in Data Visualization from Parsons School of Design. She is a practicing artist.
