The American Hospital Association (AHA) is holding a webinar April 27 on, "Get Started, Get Recognized: Becoming an Age-Friendly Health System."

This virtual learning session will provide guidance for organizations toward being recognized as Age-Friendly. The informational session will provide a live demonstration of completing the form for recognition, share information and resources, and answer questions. Age-Friendly health care - for adults age 65 and older - is an urgent need now. There are more than 54 million Americans age 65 and older, and that number is projected to climb to about 95 million by 2060.

The webinar is aimed at health care professionals working in any care setting that provides care to adults age 65 and older, e.g., geriatric units, primary care offices, skilled nursing facilities, EDs. Learn how your team can join more than 3,000 care sites now recognized as age friendly.
