American Hospital Association 2023 Conference: Accelerating Health Equity
The American Hospital Association (AHA) is holding their Accelerating Health Equity conference in Minneapolis, May 16-18.
The three-day conference, led by the AHA Community Health Improvement (ACHI) network and the Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE), will focus on the theme, "Together on the Quest for Healthy Ecosystems." Systemic drivers such as structural racism and economic disadvantages have resulted in disproportionate health outcomes across different patient populations.
The conference helps facilitate the work of health care and community organizations to close health equity gaps by building strategic hospital-community partnerships and developing and sustaining diversity and inclusion efforts across the field.
Sessions and events will include JAHF staff and grantees, AHA, USAging and Trust for America's Health.
