Grantmakers In Aging, (GIA), has published an introduction for funders guide, "Aging Positively: Bringing HIV/AIDS into the Aging Services Mainstream."

There are about 1.1 million people in the U.S. currently living with HIV/AIDS, and 50% of whom are age 50 or older. By 2030, that figure is estimated to rise to 70%. The guide highlights the diverse experiences of older people living with HIV/AIDS and offers actionable ideas for philanthropies of all kinds to improve care and quality of life. Narratives and available services and supports are discussed, and both social and funding ideas for philanthropies are described.
