Campaign for Action: Nurse Practitioners Provide Age-Friendly Convenient Care

The Future of Nursing's Campaign for Action initiative has published an article on JAHF's collaboration with CVS Health MinuteClinic and the Case Western Reserve
Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing to promote Age-Friendly Health Systems in retail medical clinics across the country.

The 4Ms framework for Age-Friendly Health Systems has been implemented in various care settings, from hospitals to primary care clinics. However, this new partnership is bringin age-friendly care to a new platform - MinuteClinic, with 1,100 locations in 33 states and the District of Columbia. The initiative is adapting the 4Ms framework to retail settings in order to dramatically increase the scope of Age-Friendly Health Systems.

“We have got to connect the dots for older people, including at the pharmacy,” says Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, president of The John A. Hartford Foundation.
