AARP Solutions Forum - Families Caring for An Aging America: The Current Landscape and Opportunities
Join AARP Solutions Forum for continental breakfast and discussion of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's report, Families Caring for an Aging America. In this newly released consensus report, a committee of experts calls for public acknowledgement of caregiving families, and a transformation in policies and practices affecting them in their support and care of older adults with health and functional needs.
At the forum, members of the committee of the Families Caring for an Aging America will dissect the report to share many of the challenges and opportunities for family caregivers. Along with members of the committee, the forum will also have a reactors panel, which will include many leaders in the field of family caregiving to share their thoughts. The John A. Hartford Foundation will represented on the panel. The event will take place in Washington DC.
