Grace Gifford, MPH
Office Administrator
Grace Gifford is the office administrator at The John A. Hartford Foundation, where she supports the president and executive assistant to the president, as well as the communications and program teams as needed. She assists with day-to-day operations of the foundation, serving as the office point of contact and supporting daily office administration. Her responsibilities include calendar management, expense reporting, board meeting logistics, overseeing office maintenance, and assisting with hiring and onboarding interns.
Grace joined the foundation as a graduate communications and program intern, where she supported strategic communications and programmatic efforts related to healthy aging and health care improvement.
Prior to joining the foundation, she worked as a marketing administrative assistant at the Wyckoff YMCA, where she managed website design, led social media efforts, and supported the organization's broader marketing and communications initiatives. She also served as a quality improvement intern with the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and as an intern with the Behavioral Health Systems of Care team at the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services. These experiences strengthened her interest in public health systems and healthcare quality improvement.
Grace holds an MPH in public health management from New York University and a BS in health policy and management from Providence College.
