Program Officer and Senior Technology Advisor

JiHo Chang is a Program Officer and Senior Technology Advisor at The John A. Hartford Foundation. He has primary or secondary responsibility over a variety of grant-funded initiatives across the Foundation’s three priority areas: Age-Friendly Health Systems, Family Caregiving and Serious Illness and End of Life. In his role as Senior Technology Advisor, JiHo contributes to the testing, implementation and support of IT applications and data management systems used by the Foundation. He also supports the intersection of technology and innovative solutions in Foundation efforts to improve the care of older adults.

Prior to joining The John A. Hartford Foundation, he gained experience in clinical healthcare, healthcare system management, sustainable development and community-based public health through organizations including University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, University of Utah Department of Family and Preventative Medicine and the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development. JiHo, who was born in South Korea, served and was honorably discharged as Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army, Army Aviation Operations Command. He earned a BA in Economics from New York University, an MPH from the University of Utah School of Medicine and an MHA from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business.
