Sarah Alaimo
Communications Assistant
Sarah Alaimo is the communications assistant at The John A. Hartford Foundation, where she supports the development and execution of communications strategies that advance the foundation’s mission. She contributes to website and newsletter content, helps manage the foundation’s social media channels, and oversees the design and layout of digital and print materials, including reports, presentations and advertisements.
Sarah joined the foundation as office administrator, where she spent two years managing daily operations, supporting senior leadership and coordinating major events, including quarterly board meetings and the New York City screening and panel discussion for the PBS documentary Aging in America: Survive or Thrive.
Prior to joining the foundation, Sarah worked in operations and communications roles across nonprofit and creative organizations, including as a communications intern with the World Wildlife Fund and as an office manager at a New York-based creative marketing agency. She also has worked as a freelance web and graphic designer for small businesses and produced and hosted a college radio program focused on environmental education and sustainability.
Sarah holds a BS in Communications and International Relations from Boston University.
