Age-Friendly Public Health Systems Initiative New Resource: "Age-Friendly in Your State" Map Tool
Trust for America’s Health (TFAH) has new resources on their Age-Friendly Public Health Systems Initiative (AFPHS) website including an "Age-Friendly in Your State" map tool.
The AFPHS.org website is a hub resource of programs, recommendations, guidelines and tool kits the AFPHS initiative and network partners are developing to help state and local public health departments make healthy aging a core component of their operations. New resources on the website include:
- Age-Friendly in Your State map tool
The new interactive map tool reports on the Age-Friendly Ecosystem by state.
Click on your state to find information on: - The site now contains two map tools, the other map is on vaccination access for individuals who are homebound.
- Filtering tool on the Resources page
Allows the site user to search for site content by 11 product types such as "State/Local Age-Friendly Plans" and "Aging Research."
