The American Hospital Association (AHA) has released a podcast on hospital-at-home titled, " Members in Action: Presbyterian Healthcare Services." AHA has also published a series of case studies on hospital-at-home.

As hospitals reconsider how and where they deliver care to patients, many are seeing the hospital-at-home model as a promising approach to improve value. Hospital-at-home enable some patients who need acute-level care to receive care in their homes, rather than in a hospital. AHA has created a growing repository of resources on hospital-at-home, including case studies, and the issue brief, "Creating Value by Bringing Hospital Care Home."

In the podcast, Julia Resnick, Senior Program Manager at the AHA, talks with Dr. Nancy Guinn, medical director of Presbyterian at Home and Dr. Elizabeth de Pirro, medical director of hospital at home and complete care. They discuss how Presbyterian is improving outcomes and the patient experience while reducing cost through their hospital-at-home work.
