CARE Fund and JAHF Webinar: Care and Work - Improving the Livelihoods of Family Caregivers and Care Workers

CARE FUND WEBINAR

The Care for All with Respect and Equity (CARE) Fund and JAHF are hosting a webinar on June 18, "Care and Work: Improving the Livelihoods of Family Caregivers and Care Workers."

The vast majority of family caregivers have jobs outside the home. Public and corporate policies need to be reshaped so working parents of young kids and family members caring for older and disabled loved ones can live dignified lives with economic security. Meanwhile, professional caregivers struggle to make ends meet with low wages and meager benefits.

Drawing on the data from the Caregiving in the US 2025 report, panelists will explore both the support needed by family caregivers in the workforce as well as the need to improve the quality of paid caregiver jobs. Join us for a robust discussion on the state of care and work with these insightful speakers:

  • Inimai Chettiar, A Better Balance
  • Jason Resendez, National Alliance for Caregiving
  • Haeyoung Yoon, National Domestic Workers Alliance
  • Anna Wadia, The Care for All with Respect and Equity Fund
  • Rani E. Snyder, The John A. Hartford Foundation
