CAPC Announcement: 24 Health Care Organizations Win The First John A. Hartford Foundation Tipping Point Challenge

The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) has announced that twenty-four health care organizations have won the inaugural round of The John A. Hartford Foundation Tipping Point Challenge.

The Tipping Point Challenge is an innovation and quality improvement challenge to spread palliative care skills among all clinicians. It is the cornerstone of a five-year campaign aimed at creating a tipping point in the improvement of care delivered to millions of Americans living with a serious illness. More than 1500 health care organizations participated over the past year and 24 of those won.

The second Tipping Point Challenge will be announced in spring 2020 and will focus specifically on the development of innovation in the care of serious illness.
