CAPC COVID-19 Response Resources

CAPC response

The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) has released freely available COVID-19 resources, among them is a response toolkit.

CAPC has organized a COVID-19 toolkit including crisis communication and symptom management protocols for all clinicians, and guidance to help palliative care teams address high levels of volume and stress during a crisis.

CAPC has added new Virtual Office Hours (VOH) sessions for clinicians to come together to share ideas and support each other. These new VOH are open to all, but space is limited. The virtual office hours will cover the following topics:

On March 18, CAPC held a briefing, led by Dr. Diane E. Meier and Dr. R. Sean Morrison, on the impact of COVID-19 for the palliative care field. To watch the recording and download the presentation slides, click here.

CAPC is collecting best practices and tools around how palliative care teams are responding to the COVID-19 crisis. Let them know how your palliative care program is impacted by COVID-19, and share any documented policies, procedures, or technical assistance that your team has developed.
