Grantmakers in Aging Care is Fundamental How Funders Can Accelerate Vital Progress on Caregiving

Grantmakers in Aging (GIA) has released a new guide on, "Care is Fundamental: How Funders Can Accelerate Vital Progress on Caregiving."

The new guide draws on interviews with seventeen leaders in philanthropy, including The John A. Hartford Foundation's Rani E. Snyder, and shows how funders, policymakers, advocates and those in technology, entertainment, venture capital and private industry are stepping up to promote caregiving strategies that improve the quality of life for millions of Americans who need help to meet their health and social needs.

“Looking back, RAISE was a signal moment,” says JAHF's Vice President of Program, Rani E. Snyder. “Prior to it, there had been no national approach to recognize and support family caregivers.”
