The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) has published a blog, "Driving the Urgent Need to Improve Nursing Home Care."
In the blog, Jennifer Lenoci-Edwards, IHI Director of Patient Safety, discusses her experience leading the work of IHI’s COVID-19 Rapid Response Network for Nursing Homes. Created in partnership with The John A. Hartford Foundation, the goal of the COVID-19 Rapid Response Network for Nursing Homes is to get critical information as quickly as possible to nursing homes struggling with their response to COVID-19 through regular 20 minute calls. The blog gives an overview and describes details such as the driver diagram and learnings from the calls.
