NHCOA Tele-Town Hall: Health Inequities & COVID-19

The National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA) is holding a Tele-Townhall July 22 on, "Health Inequities & COVID-19."

It is becoming increasingly clear, based on evolving data, that COVID-19 is having a more devastating impact on Blacks, Latinos and American Indians across the nation. NHCOA is addressing this current public health crisis through a series of virtual townhalls.

The next tele-townhall will focus on health inequities and how COVID-19 has exacerbated many of these inequities for high-risk communities of color, LGBT communities and older adults. The format will consist of four presenters followed by a facilitated question and answer session. Speakers will include representatives from the Hogg Foundation, SAGE and National Indian Council on Aging.
