Nominations Open for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2020 Business Innovation Award

The Aging and Disability Business Institute is now accepting nominations from community-based organizations (CBOs) for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2020 Business Innovation Award. Nominations are due by August 6.

Now in its fifth year, The John A. Hartford Foundation Business Innovation Award recognizes aging and disability CBOs for the innovative approaches they have taken to reduce health care costs and improve the well-being of older adults and people with disabilities through strategic partnerships with health care entities. The award draws attention to this critical cross-sector work and spurs nationwide replication of these partnerships.

This year, the Business Institute is especially interested in recognizing innovations in CBO-health care contracting related to COVID-19 response or addressing health equity or health disparities.

Winners will receive a plaque and monetary award of up to $5,000 during the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging’s Virtual Conference and Tradeshow, taking place September 21-24. Learn about past recipients of the award on the Business Institute website.

The updated nominations deadline is August 6, 2020.
