Report: In Support of Family Caregivers - A Snapshot of Five States

Milbank Memorial Fund and The John A. Hartford Foundation have cosponsored a report, "In Support of Family Caregivers: A Snapshot of Five States," by researchers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

The report highlights advanced policies and programs in support of family caregivers in Washington, Hawaii, Maine, Minnesota, and Tennessee. States are building family caregiving programs into their service delivery systems - these five states were selected as they exemplify unique and a diverse range of policies that better support family caregivers.

Common theme are identified in the report, along with detailed information on how each state developed their family caregiving policies. The report offers insights and lessons learned for other state policymakers.
