Fellowship in Diagnostic Excellence Program

Grant Summary

This grant will fund one Age-Friendly Fellow among 10 Fellows in Diagnostic Excellence through a program of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) supported by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. The 14-month fellowship, now integrated into the broader IHI Fellowship Program, is designed for health care improvement professionals with a demonstrated commitment to diagnostic excellence. The program includes virtual retreats and meetings, self-paced learning, and in-person convenings at the IHI National Forum. Each fellow completes a strategic impact project in diagnostic excellence. The Age-Friendly Fellow’s project will be focused on the older adult population. Scholarship applications were due August 1, 2024.

This grant was originally awarded to the Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine (SIDM).
