STATEMENT ON THE NAC/AARP CAREGIVING IN THE US 2025 REPORT
"With a nearly 400 percent increase in the number of respondents, the new Caregiving in the US 2025 report from the National Alliance for Caregiving and AARP is a clarion call to renew our commitment to our 63 million family caregivers. We have an urgent imperative to ease the financial effects of family caregiving, help caregivers access training, and expand much-needed caregiver supports like respite care.
This report provides the most complete picture yet of who America’s caregivers are and what we need to do. Its findings and data will be an invaluable resource for policymakers, advocates and service providers to strengthen caregiving policies and programs to serve our communities."
