AGS Asks Members to Complete "Choosing Wisely Campaign" Survey

The American Geriatrics Society has teamed up with over a dozen other medical specialty societies to participate in the ABIM Foundation's Choosing Wisely Campaign. AGS is asking its members to help them compile a list of five tests or procedures commonly used in geriatrics, whose necessity should be questioned and discussed. The resulting "Five Things Physicians and Patients Should Question" is meant to spark discussion about the need—or lack thereof—for many frequently ordered tests or treatments. To complete the survey, find out additional information, or see the lists from the other specialty societies, visit the AGS webpage devoted to the campaign.
