AoA and Office of Minority Health Host Webinar on Collaborative Strategies to End Health Disparities
On June 12, 2pm ET, the Administration for Community Living’s (ACL) Administration on Aging (AoA) will join with the National Partnership for Action to End Health Disparities (NPA) to present the webinar Collaborative Strategies For Eliminating Health Disparities. Overseen by the Office of Minority Health, the NPA is a multi-level public/private partnership established to mobilize a nationwide, comprehensive, community-driven, and sustained approach to combating health disparities and to move the nation toward achieving health equity. It is important for older people to take steps to maintain their good health for as long as possible. This webinar reinforces the Department’s position on ensuring that community voices have the opportunity to help shape national and local policy on health disparities. Its goal is to promote prevention strategies for older adults by highlighting activities carried out under AoA national cooperative agreements.
