Apply: AHA Next Generation Leaders Fellowship Age-Friendly Health Systems Cohort Scholarships

AHA Next Gen web

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is accepting applications for The John A. Hartford Foundation Age-Friendly Health Systems Cohort Scholarships as part of its Next Generation Leaders Fellowship.

The scholarships will support fellows participating in the AHA leadership development program to pursue age-friendly projects at their hospitals or health systems. The Age-Friendly Fellows will work towards providing enhanced care to older adults by reliably implementing a set of four evidence-based elements of high-quality care, known as the 4Ms Framework, at their organization.

The majority of the program takes place virtually through inquiry-based modules, discussions and web meetings with faculty and mentors representing diverse expertise and leadership positions. After the instructional phase is complete, Fellows will work one-on-one with their executive-level mentor to execute a transformation project specific to a challenge within their organization.

Applications are due February 28, 2020.
