CAPC Launches Palliative Care Program Inventory
The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) has launched the Palliative Care Program Inventory, a national initiative to map where specialty palliative care programs operate and where gaps in access remain.
The inventory will collect information from programs across hospital and community settings, including staffing, patient volumes and care delivery models. The data will support research, policy and advocacy efforts to improve access to specialty palliative care nationwide.
Participation is free and open to all U.S. specialty palliative care programs. The inventory is currently collecting program operations data for calendar year 2025 and does not collect patient-level data or protected health information.
