The Center for Medicare Advocacy (CMA), in partnership with the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) and The Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy’s Center for Children and Families, is holding a webinar August 27 on "How New Health Care Cuts and Policies Impact You."

During the webinar, speakers will discuss health care provisions in H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB), recently signed into law, and the impacts of the law on health care.

Speakers include:

  • Edwin Park, Research Professor at the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy’s Center for Children and Families - on Medicaid and ACA provisions.
  • Carrie Cochran-McClain, Chief Policy Officer at the National Rural Health Association - on the impact of the law on rural providers and hospitals.
  • Ali Bers, CMA - on the Medicare provisions in the law.
