Convergence Center Paper: COVID-19 Pandemic Highlights Heightened Bereavement Exposure of People Living or Working in Nursing Homes

Convergence Paper

The Convergence Center for Policy Resolution has released a paper, "COVID-19 Pandemic Highlights Heightened Bereavement Exposure of People Living or Working in Nursing Homes."

This paper is a part of the yearlong Convergence Dialogue on Reimagining Care for Older Adults, which aims to reimagine the care of older adults in nursing homes and the range of settings they call home. Bereavement is a poorly understood macro force impacting caregivers, the nation's workforce, and care for older adults. The paper highlights ground-breaking research into bereavement exposure, bereavement measurement, and strategies for building resilience, and addresses disparities in exposure to bereavement.
