FOR GRANTEES (INVITATION ONLY): Annual Hartford Interdisciplinary Scholars Communications Conference
The Hartford Interdisciplinary Scholars Communications Conference will gather 35-40 Hartford-supported scholars in medicine, nursing, and social work from universities and organizations across the country to build communications skills and abilities and enhance professional and leadership development.
Since 1999, the Hartford Foundation has supported a Communications and Dissemination Initiative, which seeks to build the capacity of the Foundation's grantees and staff to bolster their impact and strengthen the dissemination of new knowledge and innovations. The theory is that communications help to leverage the Foundation's financial investment by amplifying the effect and learnings generated by its grants. Through the Initiative, a range of consulting, support and trainings are provided to key projects and people in the Hartford network.
