GEDC 2025 Webinar Series Recording: CMS Age-Friendly Hospital Measure - Part 3 - What Matters - Eliciting Patient Healthcare Goals
The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative (GEDC) held the third session of its 2025 CMS Hospital Measure webinar series October 27 on, "What Matters: Eliciting Patient Healthcare Goals and the CMS Hospital Measure." The recording is available.
The series featured expert advice on each of the five domains of the CMS Age-Friendly Hospital Measure.
During the webinar, experts introduced CMS Age-Friendly Measure Domain 1 and talked about its impact on emergency department (ED) care for older adults, shared practical strategies and real-world examples for eliciting patient healthcare goals in the emergency setting, and explained how they integrate goals of care in their ED workflow.
