Geriatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (2.0) – Advancing Dementia Care/Emergency Medicine Foundation/West Health Institute Pilot Project Grant Opportunity
The Geriatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (GEAR) has announced that applications are open for their Advancing Dementia Care (GEAR 2.0 – ADC) / Emergency Medicine Foundation / West Health Institute Pilot Project Grant Opportunity.
The goal of these pilot project grants is to promote transdisciplinary research in geriatric emergency medicine that will advance emergency medical care for persons living with dementia and their care partners. The GEAR 2.0 research priorities are: Care Transitions, Communication & Shared Decision Making, Detection, and Emergency Department Practices.
Up to four awards will be available for July 2022-June 2023. An updated RFA released on the EMF website should be used.
Applications are due by February 4, 2022.
